Survived a Scout Camp

Reviewed in Italy on 10 September 2025

This tent nails the “grab-and-go” brief. On arrival, I set it up in roughly two minutes—stakes in, poles crossed, bag tossed inside, done. Taking it down is similarly fast once you’ve memorized the fold sequence, and the carry bag actually has breathing room, which makes repacking stress-free at the end of a long day.

It’s a single-skin, so expectations should match the design: in light rain I saw no leaks, but like any single wall, brushing against the fabric transfers moisture. The two doors help with cross-flow to manage condensation, and the small porch/overhang is a smart quality-of-life touch: it’s great for hanging a mug, airing damp socks, or giving boots a spot under cover. The exoskeleton pole layout also looks sharp on site.

Inside, space is more generous than the photos suggest. At 6'1", I could stretch out fully and still had room for my pack along one side. The groundsheet is thin—not a deal-breaker, but you’ll want to inspect your pitch for sticks and gravel; a footprint is optional insurance on rougher ground. My tent did not include the tiny micro-cover seen in some listings; that said, the roof camber appears adequate and I didn’t notice any pooling.

Brilliant fast-pitch mechanism with a short learning curve

Reviewed in France on 23 August 2025

This tent is a joy once you understand the mechanism. After a couple of practice runs, I can put it up and take it down in minutes—if you find yourself doing lots of steps, you’re overthinking it. The shelter is fully enclosed with a sewn-in groundsheet and upper vents that keep air moving. We’ve taken it out in heavy rain with no leaks, provided you avoid brushing against the walls like any single-wall design.

For day trips and beach sessions it’s ideal: fast to deploy, quick to strike, and the carry bag isn’t a squeeze. The only real caution is the initial learning curve; the printed instructions are basic, so plan five minutes to practice the fold. Once that clicks, it becomes second nature.

Six weeks outside in heavy rain & wind—contents still dry

Reviewed in Italy on 7 September 2025

I didn’t buy this for camping—I bought it as emergency storage during building work. I haven’t slept in it yet, but as a quick, weather-ready storage shelter it’s been excellent. Assembly was very easy.

What surprised me most is how well it handled the weather. It has now been up for six weeks, through multiple days and nights of heavy rain and strong wind, and everything inside has remained dry. Every couple of days I tip off any water pooling on the roof so it doesn’t load the inner fabric—after that, no issues. It also looks smart in the garden.

I saw some reviews saying it’s no good in rain; that hasn’t been my experience. As a precaution I did put a waterproof layer on the floor (a simple sheet/footprint), but so far it seems fine even without relying on that.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for a tent for 2 people

Just got back from Neverworld Festival and tent was great! Easy to set up especially with the step by step instructions. We fit a double inflatable mattress inside and still had room left either side of us. The bag could do with being a little bigger to make it easier to get back in or if the zip was the other way around this would also make things easier. However I found as long as you separated the two parts of the tent and rolled them up together it went back in OK.

I’ve used this bag for multi-day hikes, camping, cycling, motorcycling, work trips, grocery runs… you name it! It’s even survived carrying a car battery (not recommended, but it worked!). After all that, it’s still in great shape – no tears or broken parts.

Although the price has increased since I bought it, this bag is still worth every penny. It’s basic compared to fancy expensive options, but you simply can’t beat it for simplicity, space, and reliability. Highly recommended!

Excellent Backpack – Detailed Pocket Guide Included!

Reviewed in Italy on 27 December 2024

This is the fourth time I’ve bought this 40-litre backpack – not because the others failed, but because I have four kids and the first three (purchased back in 2018 or earlier) are still going strong! Fantastic value for money – you could pay five times more for a "better" one, but I’d rather stick with this reliable and affordable option. It’s also the perfect size for cabin baggage.

For those who care about organisation, here’s the lowdown on pockets:

The main compartment has a separate sleeve that easily fits a 15" laptop.

Two stretchy mesh side pockets hold water bottles securely.

A bottom compartment stores a high-vis rain cover.

Two deep front pockets – the top one includes a zipped section and pen slots.

There’s even a phone pocket on the strap (fits up to 6", though it’s a snug fit).

Highly recommended – practical, durable, and thoughtfully designed!

Great backpack for the price – lasts for years!

Bought this for casual hiking and short trips – it's well-made, water-resistant, and a really practical size. Not for hardcore mountain expeditions, but perfect for weekends away or daily use.

I'm 6'4" and it sits comfortably even without using all the straps. The best part?

This new one arrived properly packaged – no folds or wrinkles. No complaints at all. Definitely recommend if you need a dependable backpack without spending a fortune.

Supportive,large,strong hiking bag

I’ve been using this backpack for several months now, and I’m really impressed. It offers great support, with a dedicated hole for a hydration bladder tube – no need to leave the zip open. The straps are well-padded, adjustable, and very comfortable. There’s even a handy pocket on the waist strap that fits a phone.

It includes a built-in rain cover, which has been a lifesaver in all kinds of weather. The bag is tough, practical, and has plenty of pockets to keep everything organised. Highly recommend for long hikes and outdoor adventures!

So clever – not your average pop-up tent!

Reviewed in France on 11 July 2024

At first glance, I thought it was a regular pop-up tent, but it’s even smarter – the poles attach to loops so the whole thing folds down neatly. What a clever design!

Tried it last night and it’s brilliant. Lightweight, quick to put up and pack away, and the size is just right. Exactly what I was looking for – couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend if you want something easy but well thought-out.

Great tent – but bring your own pegs

Reviewed in Spain on 10 June 2024

Really impressed with this tent – it’s quick and easy to put up and take down, surprisingly spacious, and stores neatly. The only letdown are the included tent pegs, which feel a bit flimsy. I’d recommend buying sturdier ones separately. Still, definitely worth it for the price!
